Lord Governor Rudolf Boyd was sent some time ago to the Isles of the Sun due to a failed military campaign. Unlike those who went before him, he has managed to stay in the post, both for good and ill, for several decades. It is said he has grown fat and drunk -- moreso than before -- during his time out of favor and amidst the rampant corruption of the Isles.
